1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of lolcv, including the CV builder, dashboard, interview helper, AI-assisted writing tools, account features, and related websites or APIs. By using lolcv, you agree to these Terms and to any product-specific rules shown inside the service.
2. The lolcv service
lolcv helps users draft, organize, tailor, preview, export, and manage CVs, job applications, interview preparation, and related career materials. Some features may use AI models, speech transcription, document parsing, templates, analytics, and third-party infrastructure to provide suggestions or workflow automation.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login details, OAuth access, and devices secure. You must provide accurate account information and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may refuse, suspend, or deactivate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risk.
4. CV, interview, and application data
You keep ownership of the CVs, profile details, documents, application notes, recordings, transcripts, and other content you add to lolcv. You give lolcv permission to host, process, transform, transmit, display, and export that content as needed to operate the service, provide support, improve reliability, and protect the platform.
5. AI-assisted outputs
AI suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific employer, role, jurisdiction, or situation. You are responsible for reviewing every generated CV, cover letter, interview answer, score, recommendation, transcript, and export before using it. lolcv does not guarantee job placement, interview success, legal compliance, or employer acceptance.
6. Billing, plans, and cancellation
Paid features may be offered through subscriptions, one-time purchases, usage-based charges, credits, or promotional plans. Prices, included features, and billing periods are shown before checkout. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, paid access renews automatically until cancelled. Taxes, payment failures, refunds, and plan changes may be handled by our payment processor and the rules shown at checkout.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse lolcv, interfere with the service, scrape or overload systems, bypass limits, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, impersonate another person, infringe rights, or use the service to create deceptive, illegal, discriminatory, harmful, or fraudulent content.
8. Intellectual property
lolcv, including its software, interface, templates, design system, brand, logos, workflows, and documentation, is owned by lolcv or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership in lolcv intellectual property. You may use exported materials for your own job search and professional purposes, subject to these Terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep lolcv fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times. We may update, pause, remove, or limit features when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, product changes, or operational reasons.
10. Termination
You may stop using lolcv at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or the service, fail to pay required fees, or use lolcv in a way that may expose us or others to liability.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
lolcv is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, lolcv will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or employment outcomes.
12. Privacy and data protection
We process account, product, document, usage, billing, support, and technical data to operate and secure lolcv. Some workflows may require third-party processors for hosting, email, authentication, payments, analytics, AI, transcription, or storage. Do not upload information you are not authorized to process or share.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as lolcv evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service, by email, or by posting an updated version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
