Use LolCV with ChatGPT

Connect your LolCV account to work with your saved CVs and cover letters during a ChatGPT conversation. Review the result in LolCV before exporting or applying.

What you can do

Find and review saved CVs

Ask ChatGPT to find a CV in your connected LolCV account and review its content. Your private documents are available only after you authorize the connection.

Choose a CV design

Browse LolCV templates in ChatGPT, including Editorial Serif. A new CV draft uses Editorial Serif when you do not choose another template.

Save a new draft

After you approve the content, ChatGPT can create a new CV or cover-letter draft in LolCV. It can also make a separately saved copy of a CV with a different template.

Search for jobs

Search vacancies by role and location. Results include source links and may be cached, incomplete, or out of date.

How to connect LolCV to ChatGPT

The connector is currently available for custom connection testing; it is not yet listed in the public ChatGPT directory.

  1. In ChatGPT, open app or connector settings and enable developer mode if it is available to your account.
  2. Add https://lolcv.com/mcp as a connection and choose OAuth authentication.
  3. Sign in to the LolCV account that owns your documents, review the requested permissions, and allow the connection.
  4. Ask ChatGPT to find a saved CV, browse templates, draft a cover letter, or search jobs. Review proposed content before asking it to save a draft.

Before you connect

Does ChatGPT need access to my documents?

Yes. You choose which LolCV permissions to grant. CV and cover-letter content, including contact details, is shared with ChatGPT when you ask it to use those documents. You can disconnect the account later.

Will it send job applications for me?

No. The connection cannot submit applications, publish your CV, delete your documents, or overwrite an existing CV. It asks before saving a new draft.

Is LolCV listed in the ChatGPT directory?

Not yet. The connection is currently available for custom connection testing. See the connection instructions for the current setup.
